Already Day 4! You’re doing great!!

If you haven’t done so yet, it’s time to get serious and cut out the unhealthy foods and drinks that will keep you from reaching your goal. Bottom line: By changing your dietary habits TODAY, your upcoming Cleanse Day will be much easier to complete.

When you begin cleansing in a couple of days, the nutrients in the Cleanse for Life drink will help your body quickly and efficiently rid itself of impurities. However by reducing the number of potential impurities that get into your body, like caffeine and chemical sweeteners, BEFORE your Cleanse Day your body won’t have to work as hard on the day of your Cleanse.

TODAY’S TIP:

Please, no more soda…not even diet!

If you’re still drinking soda, diet soda, or coffee, try to cut it out of your diet now–or drastically reduce your intake.

  • Replace your morning coffee with herbal tea.
  • Iced herbal tea is a great substitute for soda.
  • If pure water is too plain, add a squeeze of organic lemon or orange for a subtle hint of flavor.

Low-Cal Entree Recipe:

Snapper and Salsa

Directions:

  1. Mix cilantro, peppers, onions and pineapple
  2. Cover and chill
  3. Combine oil and fresh lime juice
  4. Spray vegetable oil on grill or pan and cook snapper for approximately 4-8 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with the lime juice mixture
  5. Top with salsa and serve

Side Dish Suggestions:

  • 1/2 cup brown rice
  • Cucumber wedges

Yields: 4 servings

Instead, learn from your mistakes each day and get ready to apply your lessons to the next day…that is the way to build healthy habits that will stick. Results WILL follow!

TODAY’S TIP:
Drink Plenty of WATER…Everyday!
You know water is key to good health, but did you know that water is vital when it comes to cleansing impurities and support weight loss?

Your body gets rid of impurities in several different ways: Through elimination, perspiration and breath (that’s why cardiovascular exercise is essential to Nutritional Cleansing!). Water is vital to cleansing for the obvious reason-it helps your body remove impurities naturally.

Your body is about two-thirds water. When you don’t get enough water, you become dehydrated. Dehydrated cells don’t function as well as
hydrated cells. And if they aren’t working properly, then your cells may not be removing impurities efficiently, which affects the body’s overall health.

Water is also important to weight loss. A buildup of impurities in your
body may affect how well your metabolism works. Water can also help quell hunger pangs for short periods of time.

Bottom line: Drink plenty of water each and every day. Here’s an easy way to calculate your daily requirement of water in ounces-just cut your body weight in half. A person who is 150 pounds should drink 75 ounces of water, while a 200-pound person should drink 100 ounces.

And FYI, if you exercise vigorously or live in a very hot region, your
water requirements might be even higher.

Keep a water bottle with you at all times: In the car, at work and always while exercising.
Make a conscious effort to drink from your bottle every 10-15 minutes, even if you’re not thirsty. Some experts believe that when you experience thirst, you’re already dehydrated. So, keep chugging that water throughout the day.

Beet Salad with Chevre and Pecans

 4 medium red or golden beets (4 oz each), stems and root ends removed

1/3 cup pecans, chopped

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Fresh ground black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

2 oz low fat chevre

1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Wrap each beet in foil. Roast until soft, about 1
hour. Cool slightly; remove foil. Rub off skins; cut into wedges. Toss with nuts and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Add oil; toss. Divide among 4 plates; crumble cheese and basil on top.

Yields: 4 serving
194 calories, 8.8g carbohydrates, 6.4g protein, 15.3g fat, 15mg
cholesterol, 3.4g fiber, 5.7g sugar, 54mg sodium

Day 1

WELCOME TO YOUR FIRST DAY OF THE SKINNY JEANS CLEANSE!!

 

Your first six days on the program will help prepare your body for
your first Cleanse Day so you can get the best results. You’re beginning a
process that will help you regain optimum health and maintain a healthy
weight.

Today, you’ll drink two IsaLean® Shakes and eat one 400¬-600 calorie
meal. You can also have up to two healthy snacks if necessary. Check your System Guide for additional snack suggestions.

Before starting, weigh yourself and take measurements so you have a starting point to track your progress. Record your numbers on your System Guide or in a journal; then put away your scale and tape measure for five days.

A journal is an excellent way to track your experience on the 30-Day-what worked and what didn’t. You may also want to take a photo at the beginning of your health and weight loss journey to compare to the “new you” at various times throughout the system.

Another important tip: Drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of purified water throughout the day!

Moderate exercise (20 – 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise per day)
is also recommended.

Morning
When you wake up, drink 1-2 glasses of purified water. Don’t forget to add IsaWATER™ Alkalized Concentrate to your water. IsaWATER Alkalized Concentrate helps raise the pH of your drinking water, making it more alkaline which may provide additional health benefits.

Breakfast
Mix 2 scoops of IsaLean Shake with 8 oz. of purified water. Take 1 Natural Accelerator™ capsule to help jump-start your metabolism.

Lunch
Many people eat their meal during lunch to help break up the two shakes. If you prefer, you can eat your meal for dinner. Eat a balanced meal of 400-600 calories. Protein, veggies and whole grains are great food options. Skip the butter or fatty dressings. For convenience, consider planning your menu of healthy meals for the week.

Mid-afternoon
If you’re hungry, have a piece of fruit, 1-2 IsaDelight Plus™, a few stalks of celery or unsalted almonds. Take one Natural Accelerator capsule with your snack or with water.
Dinner
You’ll either have your second IsaLean Shake or your 400-600 calorie meal for the day.

Not seeing big results? Start by asking yourself these questions…

  • Have you gotten rid of all of your tempting foods? If no, then are you allowing any of these foods to tempt you away from the system?
  • Are you getting enough fiber? If constipation is an issue, Isagenix FiberPro™ is an effective solution, which you can easily incorporate into your diet.
